Hugh Stoll
Chief Technology Officer at Sol Renewables Incorporated
Hugh Stoll has over three decades of experience in the electrical industry, starting with residential and commercial projects before transitioning to industrial automation and control work in the petroleum and electroplating sectors.
Since 2000, Hugh has been involved in overseeing and consulting on various Turbine-Generator projects for hydro-electric plants across several states, including innovative projects like the design and installation of automation and controls for the first variable speed permanent magnet generator at a U.S. hydro-electric facility.
Hugh also played a crucial role in providing construction oversight for one of Virginia's largest solar projects in 2010 and 2011. Additionally, he has been actively engaged in the design, development, construction, and management of solar assets for a decade.
Certified as a Master Electrician in Virginia, Hugh Stoll currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Sol Renewables Incorporated, following a role as the Chief Technology Officer at Secure Futures Solar.
In his leisure time, Hugh enjoys whitewater kayaking, backpacking, attending live music events, and sharing meals with friends.
Hugh pursued his education at Eastern Mennonite University.
