Howard Yu

Howard Yu is a renowned business school professor and innovation expert. He currently holds the LEGO Professor of Management and Innovation position at IMD Business School, where he is also the Director of the Advanced Management Program. Prior to his academic career, Yu worked in Hong Kong's banking industry as a Management Associate at Citi and Graduate Management Trainee at Standard Chartered Bank. He received his doctoral degree in Management from Harvard Business School, and his research has been published in academic journals like the Business History Review, as well as popular media outlets such as the Harvard Business Review and the Financial Times.

As a prominent business management instructor and innovator, Yu collaborates with prominent organizations from across the globe to share his insights and expertise. He has worked with companies like ASML, Daimler, Bosch, Electrolux, Sanofi, and Novartis in Europe and China's China Resources, COFCO, and Tencent, amongst others in Asia. Yu has also won several awards and accolades for his case writing and research, including the 2017 Case Centre Awards' "Outstanding Case Writer on the Hot Topic Big Data-Risks and Opportunities" category.
