Howard Mallen is a co-founder of Force Training Institute, a position he has held since February 2011.1 He is also known for his role as a co-founder of Krav Maga Worldwide, Inc., which he established in August 1996.1
Krav Maga Worldwide, Inc., founded in 1999, is an organization dedicated to promoting Krav Maga, a self-defense system, throughout the United States and globally. The company trains and certifies instructors and has licensed over 150 authorized training centers.23
In addition to his work in self-defense training, Mallen has experience in the packaging industry. He previously held a position as a Packaging Executive at a Packaging & Display Manufacturer from November 2000.1
More recently, Mallen has been involved in developing innovative self-protection products. As the CEO of Force Training Institute, he oversaw the creation of a laptop case that doubles as a bulletproof shield. This product was designed to provide a practical self-protection option in various situations.45
