Howard Goldberg is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII), a position he has held since July 2019. He initially joined CESMII as the Vice President of Business Development in May 2018. In his current role, he oversees the operations of the headquarters and the Smart Manufacturing Innovation Centers (SMICs), focusing on membership operations, business development, compliance, and contracts.1 3

Goldberg brings over 20 years of experience in leadership roles within sensor-solutions companies. Prior to joining CESMII, he served as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Pressure Profile Systems, where he successfully launched complex products and increased shipment revenues by 14%. He also held the position of President and COO at Interlink Electronics, achieving a 36% revenue increase during his tenure.1 2 3

He holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, a B.S.E.E. from Lehigh University, and an Executive Management Certification from Rice University. Additionally, he is an inventor on 10 issued patents related to sensor and actuator design.1 2
