Howard Bernstein is a highly experienced legal and financial professional with over 30 years of experience in law, corporate finance, accounting, marketing, and management consulting. He holds a J.D. from the University of Colorado, post-M.B.A. in Corporate Financial Management from New York University, MBA in Accounting from Cornell and honor's B.A. in Psychology from Columbia. Bernstein is an accomplished lawyer who has been selected as Boulder's Best on the Colorado Daily's readers' poll. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Bar of the State of Colorado, and the California Society of CPAs. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. Bernstein is the founder and president of AEA Business Consulting LLC. He was formerly the managing partner at Howard O. Bernstein, P.C. He is a regular lecturer on legal ethics, taxation, and employment topics for lawyers and is a moderator at the Conference on World Affairs at the University of Colorado. Bernstein is a member of the Board of Directors for OpenArts, serving as the Colorado Chapter President of the American Association of Attorney-CPAs, providing pro bono assistance through Colorado Legal Services and Boulder County Legal Services, raising money for The Children's Hospital by riding in the Courage Classic cycling tour, and assisting non-profit organizations at reduced fees. Bernstein has been recognized for his contributions to the disadvantaged in his community through Boulder County Legal Services and has been awarded the John Robert Marshall Pro Bono Award by the Boulder County Bar Association.
