Finance Manager

•	Responsible for the financial reporting for a division with an annual turnover of $250 million.
•	Partnering with the commercial director to drive revenue and analyse results on a weekly basis by conducting a national leadership weekly meeting.
•	Preparing and reviewing of annual budget, annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts and financial statements.
•	Communicating performance with key internal stakeholders with the assistance of business tools using KPI, bridge analysis and benchmarking.
•	Provide an appraisal of performance and budget variance analysis within the stipulated timeframe.
•	Detailed commentary of monthly and year to date performance submitted as part of the group board pack.
•	Management of working capital and cash flow (13 week rolling forecast), in conjunction with the Treasury Reporting Manager.

•	Responsible for BAS and FBT. Liaison with external tax accountants.

Financial Controller – Agri Businesses and JVs

•	Present the weekly and monthly Profit & Loss reports and provide variance analysis to budget and reforecast.
•	Worked closely with the state commercial manager to review weekly results and identify key areas that were missing budget/reforecast.
•	Developed and maintained accurate cost accounting processes to enable to report on product profitability.
•	Managing inventory control each week for packaging stock and biological stock.

•	Monthly variance cost and revenue analysis. Giving a detailed commentary with support of graphs.
•	Preparing the monthly P & L reports and Balance Sheet for the board pack.
•	Assisting the General Manager with the annual budget preparation and cash flow forecast.
•	Preparation of the Audit Pack for the auditors.
•	Assisting in the Preparation of Statutory Accounts for all group companies.

Accountant

•	Reported to the Management Accountant and Treasury Manager
•	Calculated Forex variances on receipt of USD funds and prepared monthly Forex gains/loss report
•	Liaised with Port Managers and Disbursement Officers to ensure correct allocation of funds
