Honbo Zhou is a prominent figure in the fields of Internet of Things (IoT) and software engineering. He currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TongFang Software Co. Ltd., a leading provider of M2M (Machine to Machine) and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) software products based in Beijing, China. Zhou has over 25 years of experience in the software industry, having worked extensively in both the United States and China.
Zhou is also the founder and CEO of UbiLink and has held various significant positions, including General Manager of Foton Fleet Telematics and Executive Director at Technovator. His expertise encompasses middleware, IoT software, high-performance computing, and cloud computing. He is recognized as a pioneer in M2M technology and has been instrumental in the development of TongFang's flagship product, ezONE/ezM2M middleware, which has received numerous awards for innovation in China.1
In addition to his corporate roles, Zhou is an active member of several industry associations and serves as an adjunct professor at universities in China. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Zurich and has authored the book "The Internet of Things in the Cloud," published by Taylor and Francis.1
