Hiroki Udagawa

Hiroki Udagawa is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the insurance and financial sectors.

Prior to Tuck, Hiroki worked at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company (MSI) in the Marine Hull Department, where he excelled in a sales project manager role.

During his time at MSI, Hiroki worked closely with clients in the maritime industry, ranging from ship-owners to shipbuilding companies, and engaged with over 70 CEOs across various company scales.

Hiroki's role allowed him to not only provide insurance solutions but also offer valuable consultancy services by establishing meaningful networks for clients and guiding them in risk prevention strategies.

His educational journey includes studying at Monta Vista High School, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Management and International Relations from Keio University, and pursuing a Master of Business Administration at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

In terms of professional experience, Hiroki has held positions such as a Senior Financial Analyst at Amazon, a Business Strategist at Netservice Ventures Group, a Supervisor of Human Resources at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Limited, and various roles within the Sales and Underwriting departments at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company Limited.

His blend of academic knowledge and practical experience in finance, insurance, and strategic planning make Hiroki a well-rounded professional with a unique perspective and skill set.
