Himanshi Yadav

Himanshi Yadav is a highly skilled professional with a master's degree in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University. During her time at Carnegie Mellon, she served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the School of Computer Science and The Robotics Institute, working under Dr. David Wettergreen. Her research focused on machine learning, remote sensing, deep learning, and computer vision, with specific projects involving the classification of orbital data, particularly hyperspectral images, as well as software development for the robot Zoe.

Currently, Himanshi is actively engaged in research at the University of Pittsburgh, collaborating with Prof. Jeff Cohn in the AAG lab. Her current work revolves around the transcription and visualization of medical datasets, showcasing her diverse skill set in data analysis and visualization techniques.

Himanshi's educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology (Honors) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and a Master of Science in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University. Her academic journey combined with her professional experiences has equipped her with a robust foundation in robotics and related fields.

Throughout her career, Himanshi has held various key roles, including Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, and Teaching Assistant at the same institution. Additionally, she has contributed as a DAAD Research Intern at Technische Universität München, demonstrating her adaptability and international exposure in academic and research settings.
