Hillary Sims is an accomplished education professional with a diverse academic background. She pursued her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology & Sociology with a minor in Anthropology at East Tennessee State University.
Furthering her education, Hillary studied History, Geography, and Holistic Teaching & Learning, earning a Master of Science degree from The University of Tennessee. She also completed a Master's Degree in Holistic Teaching and Learning with a focus on Secondary Education at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Hillary Sims continued her academic journey by obtaining an EdS in Secondary Education and Teaching-Special Education K-12 from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She also specialized in Licensure Addition for Secondary School Administration/Principalship at Carson-Newman University.
Professionally, Hillary has held various impactful roles in the field of education. She served as an Exceptional Education Coach at Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and previously at METROPOLITAN NASHVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS. She also contributed her expertise as a School Administrator at STEM Preparatory Academy, Lead Academy, and Florence Crittenton Agency.
Hillary Sims has a rich teaching background, having taught Psychology & Sociology at Oak Ridge High School and Ancient Civilizations & World Geography at Farragut High School. Her experience also includes a role as Marketing Director and Interim Director of Special Education & Enrollment Specialist at Edison Learning, Inc.
With a strong foundation in education, leadership, and a passion for special education, Hillary Sims continues to make a positive impact in the academic realm.
