Hilary Kenna

Hilary Kenna is a lecturer at Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology with a background in UX/UI design and a keen interest in Information Design, Data Visualization, Design Futures, Screen Typography, VR, and AR.

She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Design Principles for Screen Typography from the University of the Arts London. Additionally, she pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in New Business Development from Dublin Institute of Technology, further enhancing her skills in start-up innovation.

Hilary Kenna has also completed courses like Insights for Innovation at IDEO_U and earned a Master's Degree in Visual Communication Design as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication Design from the National College of Art & Design.

Prior to her role as a lecturer, Hilary Kenna worked as a Visual, UX & UI Designer, Creative Director, and Design Consultant at Independent Consultant, bringing a wealth of industry experience to her teaching role.
