Hilary Burns is an accomplished journalist with experience in writing for reputable publications, both online and print. She studied Communication and Journalism, with a concentration in Media Studies, at Wake Forest University. At the beginning of her career, Hilary worked as a Freelance Reporter at The Barnstable Patriot and Features Intern at Cape Cod Times. Since then, she has held multiple reporting positions at American Banker, Charlotte Business Journal, and American City Business Journals, among others. Her expertise lies in banking and entrepreneurship, but she has also written about various topics including gender, diversity, and the economy. Hilary has served as the Associate Editor / Newsletter Author at Boston Business Journal and has been a Teaching Assistant at her alma mater. She was also a GroundTruth Project Fellow.
