Hiba Ahmed is an accomplished undergraduate student pursuing a dual degree in Marketing and Information Systems with a minor in Environmental Sustainability at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. With her interest in sustainable social change, she has pursued several opportunities in the field of impact marketing, social entrepreneurship, and leadership development.
Hiba has been engaged in various leadership and internship roles, notably as the former Photography Intern at Technology Entrepreneur Center and the Venture Capital Intern at Illinois Ventures. She also served as the Social Media Coordinator at Believers Bail Out, a Venture for America and Camelback Ventures alumni-led full-stack software development company that is dedicated to addressing the harm caused by the money bail system.
Hiba's dedication to environmental justice has driven her to obtain a role as an Incoming Market Development Intern at Intel Corporation's Internet of Things Group. Outside of her industry experiences, Hiba has also demonstrated her leadership ability as a Summer Leadership Retreat Participant at Chicago Desi Youth Rising, where she developed her leadership capabilities by engaging with her fellow participants and mentors.
With her diverse professional background, passionate and innovative mindset, and interest in environmental sustainability and social change, Hiba is sure to make a positive impact in her future endeavors.
