After studying Philosophy and Art History, and later MBA in Economics and Finance at New York University, he started his professional journey working in Greenwich Fine Arts Inc. as a President. From then on, he worked at various prestigious positions, including Trader at EBF & Associates, Managing Director at Salomon Smith Barney, Director Distressed Research at Lehman Brothers, Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns, Managing Director at Nomura Securities, and more. Herb Lust was also the former Head of Distressed Strategies at Newedge USA LLC, CIO at Mason Sunnyside Credit LLC, and Partner, Account Executive at Herzfeld & Stern. He has a great expertise in distressed debt and equities investing & trading, which is why he worked as Head of distressed at JP Morgan Chase, Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald, Director High Yield Research at Furman Selz, Senior Managing Director at Sandell Asset Management, and Distressed Investment Manager at Halcyon Asset Management. Currently, Herb is a salesperson at Odeon Capital Group LLC, where his skills and expertise are used to sell investment products to institutional clients.
