Henry Rock

Henry Rock is an accomplished marketing professional who is shaking up the economic development and job creation scene in inner-city America. Inspired by his mentors who were visionary black entrepreneurs in the media and advertising space, Henry set out to create a vehicle through which African American millennials and the formerly incarcerated could realize their business dreams. He founded City Startup Labs, an organization that aims to create a new class of entrepreneurs that build on the foundation laid by the trailblazers who came before.

Before founding City Startup Labs, Henry studied Marketing and Economics at Keller Graduate School of Management, Rutgers University, and Livingston College. He also worked as a Non-Profit Director at ComLoc, Corp, Business Development Manager at Vanto Group, Real Estate Sales Representative at Liberty Realty, Coldwell Banker and Marcus & Millichap. Further, he was the National Accounts Manager for Network & Syndicated Radio at SJS Entertainment, Clear Channel Communications, and SFX Entertainment.

Henry's expertise lies in mentoring young entrepreneurs, and his deep knowledge of marketing, sales, and real estate. He is also a proponent of innovation and advocacy for the African American community.
