Henrik Christensen

Henrik Christensen is a seasoned veteran of the global shipping and transportation industry with over 40 years of experience. He began his career as an apprentice with Larsen & Rastorp (later Speditioncentret A/S) in Copenhagen in 1971 and has since worked with various companies and projects around the world. In 1988, he left Africa to work for Bellville in London as their General Manager, then co-founded Spedition Services Ltd. in 1990. He eventually moved to Hong Kong and worked on building business partnerships between Hong Kong and Russia, as well as acted as an independent M&A consultant. In 2005, he founded the China Logistics Club, which has since evolved into several other logistics clubs around the world with a combined membership of around 400 from 86 different countries. Among his recent projects, he is currently building Guinea Shipping Corporation, a national shipping line in a joint venture with the Republic of Guinea with a mandate to carry the first 50% of the country's imports and exports. Christensen also specializes in M&A services related to the shipping, logistics, and supply chain industry. His expertise spans across various fields, including renewable energy projects in Africa, refinery projects in Nigeria, and silk road transportation railway projects.
