Helmut Knepel

Helmut Knepel is a prominent figure in the business world, serving as both Chairman and member of various supervisory boards and advisory boards such as LURSE AG, immobilen-experten AG, f-fex AG. He also functions as an Executive Consultant in the real estate and fund sectors, with a history of engaging in entrepreneurial endeavors across multiple companies and projects.

From 1992 to 2011, Knepel held the position of Partner at FERI, culminating in his roles as the Board member of FERI AG and the CEO of FERI EuroRating Services AG. His past responsibilities within the FERI Group involved managing the real estate division and being a part of the executive management team at FERI Research GmbH.

Before his tenure at FERI, Knepel occupied various roles in academia and corporate planning, including positions at HOECHST AG. With over 20 years of involvement in real estate and fund-related matters, he has extensive expertise in these areas.

His educational background includes a degree in Volks- and Betriebswirtschaft, as well as Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt. He furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a doctoral degree in Statistics and Econometrics and leading a research project at the University of Frankfurt until 1984. Knepel has been a lecturer at multiple universities for over 30 years.

As an accomplished author, Knepel has penned numerous publications on economic and econometric issues, forecasting and rating methodologies, and topics encompassing real estate and funds.
