Helena S. Younossi is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in U.S. business immigration matters, catering to a diverse range of companies from startups to Fortune 500 corporations, as well as assisting individuals and families with their immigration needs.
With a background as a partner at a major U.S. corporate immigration firm, Ms. Younossi brings a high level of expertise in employee work authorizations, I-9 IRCA Compliance, M&A, LCA Compliance, and Immigration Program and Policy development, along with Consular and Global work visa coordination.
She has been recognized for her contributions in the field, having been selected annually for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and the Northern California Super Lawyers since 2010. Ms. Younossi is also a three-time recipient of the Wiley W. Manuel Award.
Helena Younossi is known for her speaking engagements on immigration and legal ethics, having been invited by prestigious organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Public Law Institute, the Immigrant Legal Resource Center, and others to share her expertise.
Apart from her legal pursuits, Ms. Younossi is actively involved in various committees and organizations, including serving as a Board Member and Liaison at AILA Northern California Ethics Committee, a member of the AILA National Ethics and Practice Management Committee, and as a Cultural Advisor at the Alliance for International Women's Rights.
Helena Younossi holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Francisco and completed her Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is fluent in German and Farsi, and conversational in French.
Currently, Ms. Younossi leads her own firm, Younossi Law, where she continues to provide expert guidance and assistance in immigration matters.
