Helen Chen is a sophomore at Duke University with a Major in Statistical Science and a Data Science Concentration, along with a Minor in Chemistry. Her interests lie in the intersections of STEM and finance, social impact and business, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Statistical Science and a Concentration in Data Science, as well as a Minor in Chemistry, achieving an impressive GPA of 3.92/4.00 at Duke University. Prior to this, she completed her High School Diploma at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute and studied Applied Science and Engineering at Yale Young Global Scholars.
Helen has been actively involved in various organizations, including being an Incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Rothschild & Co. Previously, she also served as a DUMAC Student Intern at Duke University, Chief Correspondent Officer and Treasurer at Duke Investment Club, VP of Events for the Spring Business Conference (SBC) at Duke Association for Business Oriented Women, and a Dzialga Women in Finance Fellow at Duke Financial Economics Center, among other roles.
Her experiences range from being an Undergraduate Math Teaching Assistant, Girls in Science Spokesperson, to having internships and roles at Romero Capital, Goldman Sachs, and Rothschild & Co. She has also been part of various clubs and societies during her time at Duke University.
