Helen Brennan is a seasoned Chartered Accountant and risk manager, known for spearheading the operational transformation of Audit Risk Management at KPMG in the UK. With a diverse background in assurance, she has honed her expertise in developing practical tools and technical content to bolster assurance services for non-financial subject matters. Helen holds esteemed positions such as being an ICAEW Board member, an elected council member representing London and District, and a member of the ICAEW Assurance Panel. Outside her professional realm, she serves as a Trustee and Chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee for Stella Maris, an agency under the Catholic Bishops Conferences of England & Wales and Scotland. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role as a Governor and Chair of the Finance & Premises Committee at Bishop Challoner Catholic Federation of Schools and is actively involved in the parish leadership at Our Lady & St Joseph, Kingsland. Helen boasts a unique skill set encompassing public company audit quality, technical accounting, company law, non-standard reporting, and contracting.
