Heinz Zallmann

Heinz Zallmann is a seasoned telecom industry professional with an impressive background in various leadership roles spanning over two decades. After graduating with a degree in Computer Science from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, he joined Digital Equipment Corp and later Philips Kommunikations Industry. In 1995, he joined Lucent Technologies and moved to the US in 1998 to oversee the evolution of Intelligent Optical Networking and promote Optical Networking products within key customer segments of the North American market.

From 2003 to 2012, Heinz held various leadership positions in Sales and Customer Marketing for Alcatel-Lucent in Europe and Nokia in the EMEA area. He led the Technical Sales force across Europe, was responsible for Sales and country management in Eastern Europe, and served as the Vice President Customer Marketing EMEA, Vice President Technical Sales Europe and North/North West Europe, and Vice President Technical Sales Europe. He also led the Optical Portfolio Management and Strategy for Nokia and had global responsibility for the Next Generation Converged Networks portfolio.

Since being part of Nokia, Heinz has taken on E2E Solution Selling to a major operator, and most recently became the Customer CTO for a major account in Europe. He is based in Nuremberg, Germany.
