Heidi Normandin

Heidi Normandin is an accomplished professional with 20 years of experience working with university faculty members, researchers, and policymakers.

She has recently focused on supporting faculty members at tribal colleges to enhance their teaching skills and engage in Indigenous-focused research.

Throughout her career, Heidi has been instrumental in promoting evidence-informed policymaking by translating complex research findings into accessible formats for policymakers and the public.

Her expertise includes creating nonpartisan programs, events, and communication strategies to bridge the gap between research and policymaking.

Heidi has worked closely with numerous legislators, governors, researchers, and policymakers to effectively communicate research findings and drive impact.

She holds a Master of Arts in Public Affairs and Public Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from the University of North Dakota.

Heidi has held various significant roles in organizations such as the American Indian College Fund, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Education Commission of the States, and more.
