Heejay Kang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in retail, business operations, and strategic planning. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering & Management Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Heejay continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School, where she obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, Marketing & Operations.

Heejay has held several positions at Macy's, where she worked her way up from Manager of Strategy + Innovation to Vice President of Business Operations + Special Projects. During her time at Macy's, she served as Director of Strategy + Innovation, VP of Strategic Business Development, and Senior Director of Merchandising & Digital Strategy for both Men's & Kid's and Women's Apparel. Before joining Macy's, Heejay worked in marketing at Spring Inc. and Dagne Dover and held various roles in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Currently, Heejay serves as Director of Brand Management - Women's at Target. Her expertise lies in strategic planning, business operations, merchandising, digital strategy, marketing, and CRM. Heejay is a visionary with excellent leadership skills and a passion for innovation and consumer-focused strategies.
