The Wonderful World of Creatures & Code:  The first children's picture book about code that teaches learners of all ages about code elements in an A-Z format illustrated with quirky and cool creatures. The book has been enthusiastically embraced by not only the developer community, but also early educators and parents from around the world.

FilmStory.org: Responsible for project management, concept, features, and content for FilmStory, the first interactive website that explores the relationship between film and history.

ReelPortland.com (under construction): Our latest project, ‘Reel Portland,’ will document and interpret the cinematic landscape of Portland, Oregon from 1894 to the present. Responsible for concept, research, features, writing, and content.

As a candidate for an MA in History at PSU, I focused my studies and research on community oral histories, the relationship between film and history, community organizations, and bringing history to the general public. 

For nearly three years I conducted research and interviews about Portland's Center for the Moving Image (CMI), Andries Deinum, Tom Taylor, and the greater Portland film community.

Responsible for the strategic planning, marketing, growth, direct marketing, research, and management for my department. Managed rate base, financials, subscriber care, print orders, direct mail campaigns, all source promotion, and created billing, renewal and insert card analysis p&l’s.

As circulation director of HAF Publishing, I was responsible for the newsstand and subscription sales for two national magazines. Additionally, I was responsible for the re-launch, maintenance, and marketing of both magazines’ websites. During my time, HAF posted some of the highest numbers across the board.
