Hayeon Kim

Hayeon Kim is a highly accomplished product marketing manager currently working at Google. She has a passion for social justice and has actively worked to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout her career.

Hayeon earned a Bachelor's degree in American Studies and Asian American Studies from Northwestern University, where she was a Center for Civic Engagement Fellow and Resident Assistant. She later received a Master's degree in Migration Studies from the University of Oxford. As an undergraduate, Hayeon co-founded and served as President of the Immigrant Justice Project, worked as a Legal Advocacy Intern at Asian Americans Advancing Justice -Chicago, and served as a We.Will Campaign Student Speaker.

In addition to her work at Google, Hayeon has held a variety of other internships and positions focused on social justice and community engagement, including serving as a Global Engagement Studies Institute Instructor at Northwestern University and a Research Intern at the Vietnam Education Foundation. Hayeon is a former Summer Scholar at the Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership and the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies.
