Hasina Mohyuddin

Hasina Akhtar Mohyuddin is a dedicated professional with a rich background in research and teaching, focusing on challenges and adaptive features among Muslim youth and religious communities, interfaith organizations, inequality theories, women's and gender studies, and social network analysis.

Her educational journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Community Research and Action from Vanderbilt University, as well as an MBA with a Healthcare Emphasis from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. She also holds a BA in Economics, graduating Cum Laude from Yale University.

In her professional roles, Hasina has served as Assistant Dean of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion at Vanderbilt Peabody College. She has also held positions such as Director at the Peabody Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Research Associate, Graduate Research Assistant, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University. Prior to her academic roles, she worked as a Teacher at Nashville International Academy and as a COO at Evelyn Frye Center.
