Harvey Hyman holds a Master of Science degree with highest honors in mental health counseling. He specializes in counseling clients dealing with self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, addiction, and relationship challenges stemming from childhood trauma.
Harvey is well-versed in various therapeutic modalities including EMDR, IFS, brainspotting, hypnosis, meditation, and self-compassion. He is currently expanding his skills by training in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Mate, MD.
His educational background includes studying Psychology at The Milton H. Erickson Foundation, earning a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling with a perfect 4.0 GPA from Capella University, studying Chaplaincy and Interfaith Religion at The Chaplaincy Institute, and pursuing a Doctor of Law (J.D.) at Georgetown University Law Center.
Harvey is affiliated with multiple organizations including HEALING PATHWAYS PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES, INC. where he serves as an APCC.
