    Harsharan Kullar

    Harsharan Kullar is a dedicated cultural activist with over a decade of involvement in her community.

    She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Asian Studies from the University of Manitoba.

    During her time at the university, she held various leadership positions including president of the Sikh Students association, chair of the women's center, and a member of the university interdisciplinary senate.

    Harsharan received multiple accolades such as the Scholarship Key for the highest GPA in her sorority, the Manitoba Emerging Leadership award, and was accepted into the prestigious Order of Omega.

    She was recognized as one of the top 40 Canadians by Amnesty International for her contributions to human rights college, and also served on the Canadian Board of Nominations for Amnesty International.

    Harsharan's bi-cultural background and strong commitment to community collaboration have led her to significant roles such as Logistics Coordinator for Kultar's Mime, a theatre production that toured multiple countries, and Community Manager for the Sikh Research Institute.

    She is a member of the Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID) and brings a wealth of experience in community engagement and cultural advocacy.

    Currently, Harsharan Kullar is leveraging her expertise as a Victim Services Practitioner at the City of Surrey, where she has been serving for over a decade, focusing on the RCMP side.
