Harry Ong is a clarinetist and Gunnery Sergeant in "The President's Own" United States Marine Band.12 He joined the band in September 2003 and has since performed at numerous high-profile events, including five presidential inaugurations.23
Ong, a Seattle native, began his musical training at age 9 and attended Roosevelt High School in Seattle before graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan.1 He received a bachelor of music from the University of Michigan in 2003.1
