Harry McCann

Executive Director

Harry McCann is an award-winning Irish entrepreneur, journalist, and thought-leader who has made a name for himself in the business and political realms. At only twenty-two years old, Harry has already achieved much success and has managed to establish himself as a prominent voice for youth worldwide.

Having started his first business, Kid Tech, at the young age of fifteen, Harry earned the title of "Ireland's answer to Bill Gates." The business, which teaches children how to code, gained support from industry leaders such as Blackberry and celebrities such as Stephen Fry. Building on his success, Harry went on to establish the world's first Digital Youth Council (DYC) to give young people a voice in STEM and Education. The council formed partnerships with industry giants such as Accenture, Twitter, Facebook, and the Irish Government, and Harry's innovative model has since been replicated in the United Kingdom.

Harry's work as an entrepreneur is just one part of his story. As an active advisor to both the European Commission and Irish Government, he has helped to shape many vital digital strategies and policies across Europe. He is also an established journalist, frequently writing op-eds for the Irish Independent and The Journal. Additionally, Harry has become one of the most sought-after international youth speakers, having spoken at over 200 events in 10 different countries.

Harry's latest venture is Trendster Media, a digital media agency that works with high-profile individuals and brands worldwide to help them develop effective brand strategies and grow their digital footprint.
