Harrison Winch

Harrison Winch is an accomplished individual with a strong educational background in Astronomy and Astrophysics.

He obtained his PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from the University of Toronto, showcasing his dedication to the field.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Harrison excelled academically at McMaster University, where he pursued a B.Arts Sc. (Honours) in Combined Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science and Physics with an outstanding GPA of 3.97.

His academic journey began at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute with the completion of his High School Diploma through the TOPS Program.

Throughout his educational endeavors, Harrison Winch has been involved in various prestigious organizations, highlighting his commitment to both research and teaching.

He has contributed as a USRA Summer Researcher at institutions such as The University of British Columbia and the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA), where he honed his research skills.

In addition to research, Harrison has also dedicated his time to teaching by serving as a Teaching Assistant for Calculus at McMaster University.

His passion for both research and teaching is further evident through his roles as a Student-Scholar and Research Assistant at the McMaster Institute for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning (MIIETL).
