Harjot Bedi

Harjot Bedi is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and a range of professional experiences.

Harjot completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree at The University of British Columbia, focusing on experimental medicine and neonatal infectious diseases during an M.Sc. program at the same institution.

Prior to his medical studies, Harjot pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Life Sciences with a sub-specialization in Immunology at Queen's University, combining his interests in biology and disease mechanisms.

Starting his academic journey at Frank Hurt Secondary School, Harjot has always shown a passion for learning and personal development.

Harjot Bedi has contributed to various organizations, including serving as a Research Assistant at LightIntegra Technology Inc., where he honed his research skills.

His experience as a Summer Intern and Research Assistant at Canadian Blood Services allowed him to deepen his understanding of medical practices and procedures.

Harjot also excelled in extracurricular roles, such as being a Residence Don at Queen's University, demonstrating his leadership and interpersonal skills.

His dedication to education and mentorship is evident through his roles as a Mentor and Tutor at Sylvan Learning Centers and as a House President at the Main Campus Residents' Council Incorporated.

Additionally, Harjot's commitment to sports and academics is highlighted by his position as a Student Athlete Academic Mentor (SAAM) at Queen's Athletics, where he supported student-athletes in balancing their athletic and academic pursuits.
