Haowen You, Ph.D., is a highly experienced engineering leader with an impressive track record of growing strong, collaborative, and inclusive teams. He has amassed over eight years of experience in software engineering, working for top companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Grubhub, and MicroStrategy, among others. Dr. You holds a Ph.D. in computer engineering from the University of Virginia, an MS in computer engineering from Binghamton University, and a BS in computer science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

Dr. You's broad range of experience and expertise spans a multitude of domains, including software engineering, data visualization, location services, and more. He has held various senior-level positions such as VP of Software Engineering at BioIntelliSense, where he also served as a Technology Advisory Board Member, and Chief Technology Officer at Locus Social. Dr. You is fully committed and experienced in team building, agile methodologies, and software development lifecycle management. Dr. You has also completed Startup School's program at Y Combinator.

In his most recent role as an Engineering Manager, he oversees software development for Amazon Location Service, a service for mapmaking, location data analysis, and geospatial apps. In addition, Dr. You has provided valuable contributions as the Engineering Leadership, Merchant Growth of Grubhub.
