Haomiao Han

Haomiao Han is a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) within the AWS Security organization. He holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems and Applied Information Sciences from Cornell University's Cornell Tech campus, where he focused on Connective Media under the guidance of Prof. Mor Naaman and Prof. Nicola Dell. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Middle Eastern Studies from New York University (NYU), and has studied at NYU Abu Dhabi.

Haomiao's professional experience includes roles such as a Grader for User Experience and User Research Methods, and Data Science in the Wild courses at Cornell Tech, as well as serving as a Software Development Engineer Intern at AWS. He has also worked as an Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at NaTakallam and as a Study Advisor at Education International Cooperation (EIC) Group.

Passionate about creating programs for social good, designing user-friendly interfaces, and conducting data-driven analyses, Haomiao's interests extend to reading, traveling, and indulging in coffee and bubble tea in the DC area during his leisure time.
