Sean Lin

Sean Lin is currently a Senior HR Business Partner at Carta, based in New York City, where he has been since November 2022. In this role, he focuses on human resources for the Delivery division, which includes Customer Success, Support, and Implementations. Carta is a prominent platform that specializes in managing equity and facilitating business investments, claiming to manage over two trillion dollars in equity globally for nearly two million individuals and thousands of companies.1

Before joining Carta, Sean worked at Socure as an HR Business Partner from March 2021 to November 2022, where he supported teams in Product, Data Science, and Engineering. His earlier experience at Socure included roles as a Senior Technical Recruiter and a Senior Recruitment Consultant in Cyber Security at Lawrence Harvey.1

Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Rutgers University, where he double-majored in Economics and English Literature. He also studied economics at the University of Valencia in Spain. Additionally, he has earned professional certifications including the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and the Equity Compensation Associate (ECA).1
