Hans Reitz

Hans Reitz is a prominent figure in the field of social business and creative consultancy, known for his innovative approaches to integrating social values into business practices.

Background

Born in 1966 in Niederbayern, Germany, Reitz has been involved in social initiatives since his youth, founding an environmental protection group called "Abensberg" to combat resource exploitation. His early travels through countries like Pakistan and Iraq influenced his worldview, leading him to study classical South Indian music in India. Upon returning to Germany, he established a creative circle and managed various cultural projects, particularly in circus and theater arts.

Professional Career

In 1994, Reitz founded the creative agency circ, which has grown to serve major companies such as BMW and E.ON. The agency has been recognized multiple times as one of the most creative agencies in Germany. In 2004, he launched the coffee franchise perfect day, which harmonizes social business principles with brand experience, operating locations in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt Airport that feature coffee from their own plantation in India.

Reitz is also deeply involved with the Grameen Creative Lab, which he co-founded with Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus in 2009. This organization aims to promote social business globally by advising corporations on how to implement social entrepreneurship principles.
