Hannes Van Raemdonck

Hannes Van Raemdonck is a trilingual professional fluent in English, Dutch, and Chinese with extensive experience in EU Public Affairs, government relations, business development, team management, operational management, and project management. His academic background includes a Master's degree in Eastern Languages and Cultures: China studies from the University of Gent and a Postgraduate degree in China Business Development from the Brussels Institute of Contemporary China Studies.

Van Raemdonck has held several leadership roles during his career, including Director of Public Affairs and Communication at Huawei, where he previously served as the EU and Belgium Public Affairs Manager and Public Relations Manager. Prior to joining Huawei, he was the PR & Internal Communication Manager at Anbang Belgium Holding and the EU Public Affairs Manager at Huawei Technologies.

He also gained valuable experience during his time as a China Business Development Trainee at China Europe Strategy Solutions (ChESS) and serving as a language advisor at MIIAtech. Hannes's familiarity with China, Chinese culture, and the Chinese market make him a valuable asset to any organization looking to expand its presence in the region.
