Hannah Roodman is the Co-Founder of Verna, a female-founded production company specializing in original content and commercial films, TV shows, and video campaigns.
She has an extensive background in producing film-led campaigns for notable organizations such as The Malala Fund, the United Nations, Alicia Keys, Levis, and LabCorp. Her work has garnered international recognition at renowned conferences like TED, INK, and CUMULUS.
Hannah Roodman earned her Master of Fine Arts in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design and is currently teaching a Design Activism Studio at the same institution.
Passionate about challenging norms and exploring the frontiers of non-fiction, Hannah is collaborating with award-winning director Dan Sickles on the production of I'M NEW HERE, an avant-garde indie film delving into the impact of crypto and AI on contemporary artistry.
She holds a BA in Film and International Studies from Northwestern University and has studied abroad at the Rothberg School of International Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Throughout her career, Hannah has held various roles including Lead Producer at I'M NEW HERE, Executive Producer & Co-Founder at Verna Studios, Senior Producer of Branded Content at The Muse, and Professor at The New School.
