Hamid Torabzadeh is a Rising Junior at Long Beach Polytechnic High School with a passion for pursuing a career as a Physician Leader.

He aims to explore the realms of clinical research, medical practice, emerging technologies, biomedical innovation, and healthcare systems operations, management, policy, and entrepreneurship.

Hamid is focused on obtaining an undergraduate degree in Biomedical/Biological Engineering or Biological Sciences, potentially with a minor in global health/healthcare policy on a pre-med track.

His research interests span across various technical areas including composites materials, structural engineering, machine learning, biomedical imaging, biomaterials, bioinformatics, and biotechnology.

Additionally, he has extensive research experience in operational domains like systems assessment, management, policymaking, data modeling, and community engagement.

In his future endeavors, he aims to enhance his work, academic, and industry experience, delve deeper into research opportunities and clinical expertise, advocate for STEM educational equity, leverage technologies for societal progress, and participate in grassroots organizations promoting positive technological and scientific change.
