Halina St. James

Halina St. James is an experienced coach and TV producer with a passion for helping people excel in the Virtual World. With over 25 years in business, political, and broadcast presentation skills coaching, she has successfully transformed thousands of clients into brilliant speakers using her TalkitOut Technique. Halina's latest book, The Virtual Speaker, is a testament to her understanding of what it takes to deliver an engaging and effective message online. Her work centers around mastering the skills required to shine on a small screen, giving clients the knowledge they need to overcome the limitations of virtual presentations.

Halina's experience as a former Senior Producer at CBC Newsworld and Producer/Reporter at CTV News gives her a unique perspective on world events and leadership. She has covered national and international stories, including elections and wars, where she witnessed firsthand how world leaders' strategies worked, and which ones didn't.

Halina is a Partner at Presentations Masterclass, a former National Member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, and a former Panelist on the Communications Panel at the International Institute of Business Analysis. She has a BA in English & Philosophy from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne.

When Halina's not coaching, writing, or speaking, she ballroom dances with her husband, practices Pilates and Resistance Training, reads voraciously, and putters in her garden.
