Dr. Halim Hamzah, an accomplished professional, is the Chairman of SIRIM Standard on Lean and Innovation, as well as a key member of the 11th Malaysia Plan Technical Working Group for the Remanufacturing Industry.
With a diverse educational background, Dr. Halim holds a Doctorate in Engineering Business Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, along with additional certifications in Lean systems and advanced manufacturing technology.
Dr. Halim's expertise extends to lecturing in Lean, Strategy, and Supply Chain at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where he imparts valuable knowledge to students.
As the Managing Director of RESPECT Business and Advanced Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd, an ISO9001:2015 certified company and a spin-off from UTM, Dr. Halim focuses on providing sustainable solutions to various industries, governments, and agencies.
Throughout his career, Dr. Halim has held significant roles such as Manufacturing Domain Expert Auditor at SIRIM Berhad, Section Manager at Proton, and Engineer at Perodua, showcasing his extensive experience in the industry.
