Hal Phillips

Hal Phillips is an accomplished digital asset management professional with a wealth of experience in archiving, transcription, library management, and special collections. With a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from SUNY Purchase and a Masters in Library and Information Science from Pratt Institute, Phillips has honed his skills in a variety of roles from his early days as a Library Assistant at Nassau Community College Library to his current position as a Data Integrity Manager for voxgov. His expertise includes digital archiving, metadata creation, and content quality analysis, and his experience encompasses a diverse range of areas, including publishing, research, and transcription.

Phillips has worked in a variety of environments, including production and post-production environments, and has held positions at some of the biggest names in the industry, including Google/Zagat, Viacom, Comic Blitz, and comiXology. He has also lent his expertise as an intern at Scholastic Inc and Marvel Comics, and has a considerable editorial background, having founded and served as editor-in-chief of The Purchase Record. He is known for his exceptional attention to detail and his ability to develop and implement solutions that meet the unique needs of each organization he serves.
