Hailey Alcaraz
8th Grade English Teacher at Phoenix Collegiate Academy
Hailey Alcaraz is a passionate community advocate with an extensive background in education, public health, and advocacy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Global Studies from Arizona State University and has been an 8th-grade English teacher at Phoenix Collegiate Academy and Kenilworth Science and Technology Middle School. Hailey has also served as a Rural Women's Health Network Coordinator at Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers and as the Health and Wellness Director at ASU Undergraduate Student Government.
With her experience in low-income communities, Hailey has developed skills to address social inequities, particularly in education and healthcare. She is a former Health Education Intern at The Ladybug Project and an Au Pair for a private family. Hailey was also the Vice President of Member Development at Pi Beta Phi Fraternity and a Government Affairs and Advocacy Intern at Safe Communications.
Hailey's main goal is to use her skills and experience to alleviate social inequities and make a positive impact on the communities she serves.
