Hadi Habal

Hadi Habal is the Co-Founder and CEO of HCG Fund Management, a firm specializing in investment management, particularly in small-balance commercial and consumer loans. He has extensive experience in finance and investing, having spent most of his career focused on alternative investments. Before founding HCG in 2009, Hadi held significant roles at various prestigious firms. He was a portfolio manager at Bluecrest Capital Management and Millennium Partners, and he served as a principal at JPMorgan Partners, which is now known as CCMP Capital. Additionally, he worked as a Vice President in JPMorgan’s Mergers & Acquisitions group and began his career in the telecom sector with GTE (now Verizon) as a Member of the Technical Staff.124

Hadi holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University. He is also recognized for holding a U.S. patent for a “Cellular Network-Based Location System”.123 His leadership at HCG is characterized by a commitment to principles such as seeking truth, maintaining a winning mentality, and continuous evolution within the firm.12
