Ha Bui
ARC Future Fellow and Associate Professor at Monash University
Ha Bui is an ARC Future Fellow and Associate Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at Monash University. With a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Ritsumeikan University, Bui's research focuses on computational mechanics and material modeling, particularly in understanding and modeling failure in geomaterials. He leads the Monash Computational Geomechanics (MCG) Lab, aiming to enhance predictive capabilities in engineering applications.
Bui's educational background includes a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering from Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and an MSc in Civil Engineering from Ritsumeikan University.
Ha Bui has held various roles at Monash University, such as Former Head of Monash Geomechanics Engineering, Leader of Civil Engineering Program, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer. Additionally, he has served as a JSPS Research Fellow at Ritsumeikan University.
Currently an ARC Future Fellow at the Australian Research Council, Ha Bui continues to make significant contributions to the field of computational mechanics and material modeling, advancing our understanding of the behavior of geomaterials.
