Gwyndolyn Siebert

Gwyndolyn Siebert is a talented teaching artist with an impressive track record of nine years of experience in education and community outreach. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts & Art History and then pursued a Master's in Secondary Visual Arts Education from DePaul University. Siebert is a certified and endorsed expert in middle and high school art, and she has been part of the University of Phoenix faculty as a member of the Loop Learning Center in the Humanities department.

In 2008, Siebert joined Concordia Place, a notable nonprofit aimed at providing proactive solutions to critical social needs. In her capacity as the Teen Program Manager, she was responsible for directing the staff, overseeing day-to-day teen programs and activities, and keeping the programs fresh, leading-edge, and relevant to community needs. Siebert's effective leadership led to Concordia Place's teen programs winning the coveted Best Program for any after-school program in the state of Illinois for 2013.

In 2009, Siebert became the Site Supervisor and Instructor for After School Matters Ruckus Teen Entrepreneurs Internships. She has presented at the Illinois Afterschool Network conference, supervised intern-led presentations at numerous UIC Youth Leadership Summits, and served as a panelist at summits held by Loyola University and State Farm Youth Advisory Board. She was elected to the Illinois AfterSchool Network Board of Directors in July 2014.
