Guy Cherwonuk

Guy Cherwonuk is the Managing Partner at Georgia-Tennessee Development Partners LLC. He has held this position since January 2016.234

Prior to his current role, Cherwonuk served as the President of Paces Ferry Builders LLC from 2010 to the present day.12 He also previously worked as the President of Vinings Building Group for 10 years.1

Cherwonuk is an Army veteran who graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.1 He served in the US Army for 6 years, starting as a combat engineer before attending Officer Candidate School (OCS) and becoming an infantry officer. Cherwonuk later joined the Army Special Forces and retired as a Captain.1

After retiring from the military, Cherwonuk entered the construction industry, arranging finances to develop and build single-family subdivisions throughout metro Atlanta.1 He is currently a member of four home building associations, including the Atlanta Home Builders Association, Chattanooga Home Builders Association, National Home Builders Associates, and the Certified Professional Home Builder Program.1
