He studied at the University of Bergen and gained a Master's degree in Psychology with a focus on Neuroscience. However, he did not complete his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Tresselt has led TenkLabs, an innovative virtual reality design studio, as CEO and Founder. He has helped to develop Kodon Studio, a next-gen virtual desktop that enables digital object design at unprecedented speed. Tresselt has worked as a UX and Architecture Consultant, Senior Developer - UX and Architecture, and System Architect at different organizations. Before founding TenkLabs, Tresselt worked as a Programming Consultant at Medisinsk Fødselsregister, a System Developer at ABB Offshore Systems, and owned and operated his own system development consultancy.
