Gurvinder Singh Ahluwalia is a seasoned entrepreneur and industry expert with a diverse background in technology, business, and academia. He is widely recognized for his leadership and contributions to the frontier technologies, including blockchain, AI/ML, IoT, and cloud. Starting his career at Texas Instruments and Motorola Solutions, Gurvinder went on to work with giants like Accenture, Sun Microsystems, and IBM, where he played a critical role in the company's blockchain-IoT-cloud unit for North America. During his tenure as CTO, he helped to usher in the era of blockchain technology by aiding in the development of protocols and working with Samsung to promote blockchain's potential for IoT applications. In addition to his work with IBM, Gurvinder is the founder and CEO of Digital Twin Lab, a product and platform development company. He is the former Cofounder and Chief Product Officer of StreamSum, an AI platform company for streaming video analytics of sports and esports.
Gurvinder holds an MBA in Strategic Management from The University of Texas at Austin - Red McCombs School of Business, a Graduate Researcher in Computer Science at University of California, Berkeley, an MS in Computer Science from Jackson State University and a BSc in Math, Physics, Chemistry from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
Over the years, Gurvinder has been called upon globally for his implementation and field expertise with frontier technologies and modern delivery to business, public sector, and societal outcomes. He is a frequent speaker at forums including Davos, Horasis, Stanford, World Automotive Conference, World Food Congress, Google, UC Berkeley, Daimler Benz, and Samsung Developer Conference. Gurvinder is also an alumnus of the IBM Academy of Technology and an Industry Associate at the University College of London.
