Gurtej Gill is a passionate individual with over 3 decades of experience in managing Community Development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Fundraising, and Advocacy programs.
With a background in Economics and Sociology, Gurtej has worked with renowned figures such as Prof. J R Hicks and Dr. Manmohan Singh, the former Vice-Chancellor of Punjabi University, Patiala.
Gurtej has a strong command of English, Punjabi, and Hindi languages and a basic understanding of Urdu.
Throughout his career, Gurtej has organized numerous fundraising initiatives for various causes including HIV/AIDS, Cancer, and Children's Hospital.
In Canada, Gurtej has been involved in assisting individuals with Developmental Disabilities, managing programs for New Immigrants, and promoting multiculturalism and community awareness through various media channels.
Currently, Gurtej serves as an Advocate and Consultant for CSR and ABCD in British Columbia, focusing on creating awareness and promoting rich cultural heritage among Canadians.
His educational background includes double Masters in Economics and Sociology, along with ongoing studies at The University of British Columbia.
Gurtej has held key positions in organizations such as KEYS: Housing and Health Solutions, Progressive Intercultural Communty Services, PosAbilities, and the Ministry of Social Security, Women and Children Development in Punjab, India.
